Introduction
Community packages for the Vercel AI SDK harnesses, starting with Docker Sandboxes.
The AI SDK harnesses drive a coding-agent runtime (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode…) from your application, through a HarnessAgent. The agent runs in a sandbox, and a sandbox comes from a package that knows how to create one.
This project publishes such packages, under the fpasquet npm account. The first one runs the agent in a Docker Sandbox microVM, on your machine or in Docker Sandboxes Cloud.

Versioning
Every package follows Semantic Versioning and is released on its own with Changesets. The public API is what a package exports from its entry point. Breaking changes only ship in a major version. Two things move faster, and say so: a feature documented as experimental, such as the cloud mode of ai-sdk-sandbox-sbx, may change in a minor release; and the AI SDK harnesses are themselves experimental, so when their HarnessV1 interfaces break, the packages follow with a major.
